Book Blogger Hop - 5/13 - 5/19

 Question of the Week:

Is there a reason you chose Blogger over Word Press or a different platform?


My Answer:

Blogger is the platform I use and I have stayed with.

I didn't really know about Word Press when I started my blog, so I guess I have to say, Blogger was the only platform I knew about.

I like Blogger, I know how to use it, and I will be staying with it.

    I used to use the Blogger platform until I heard Google can do whatever it wants with your content. You're basically like renting/sharing it w/Google. So I moved to Wordpress; it is not as happy-go-lucky, user friendly like Blogger or when one had dial-up AOL, but I got used to it. With Wordpress you own your material; it is exclusively yours. If you're curious, you can Google "Blogger vs. Wordpress."

    I like the layout of my wordpress account. I'm used to it, but not entirely sure I'll stick with it over time. :)

      I do have a secondary blog with Word Press, but I like Blogger better.

    Like you, I first came across Blogger, and didn't know there were other blogging platforms available. So I've decided to stay with it, too! Besides, Blogger IS ver easy to use.

    I will be staying with Blogger as well. There are a few quirky things but everything has something quirky.

    I think that as long as the platform works for you then It's the right one. I use Wordpress because it was easier and wouldn't change because it's what I know.
