Question of the Week:
Why did you start your blog?
My Answer:
My blog began in 2010 simply because I wanted to give blogging a try and to have my own personal space to share my reviews.
I couldn't stop once I met all the other wonderful book bloggers.
Blogging is one of my favorite hobbies.
My son talked me into starting mine one summer when he was home on break.
ReplyDeleteFun...that was a great decision.
DeleteThanks for stopping, Kathy.
I wanted to take my knitting public or up a notch as Emeril would say. I wish I had started one for the kids earlier to jot down milestones and stuff.
ReplyDeleteThe milestones would have been a good idea.
DeleteThanks for stopping, Wooly Cakes and Wooden Spoons.
I had been thinking of blogging for a while, but didn't really know what to go with. I'd been reading more so I thought why not? :)

We all start our blogs for various reasons, but I think what keeps us all here is the same - the community!!

I started out in the same year as you, Elizabeth! How cool is that, right? We're now veteran bloggers, you know!! Lol.
ReplyDeleteI began blogging for the same reasons as you. Of course, I also wanted to meet other passionate book lovers, and I have! It's just GREAT to have discovered such wonderful bloggers, like YOU, for instance! So keep on blogging away, which is just what I'm doing!! :)
Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting on my own BBH post!! Have a very lovely weekend!! Happy Reading!! <3 :)

I could have sworn I commented on this post, or at least on this book. That's it. I need more caffeine! :p
ReplyDeleteLOL...I do that at times too.

I couldn't stop now either. I've met so many wonderful people! I get a little burnt out from time to time, but I think I'll keep blogging for as long as I can. Thanks for visiting my blog! Happy reading!

I agree, the blogging community has really kept me going! My 'main' blog has a homeschooling focus, and I've especially enjoyed that sisterhood. Book bloggers are wonderfully friendly and helpful as well.
ReplyDeleteI have found that too about book bloggers...very friendly and oh so helpful.
DeleteThanks for stopping, Kym.

Great answer! I have thought about stopping now and then, but the community has always kept me from doing so. Who else is as crazy about books as me? :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I am crazy about books, and it is wonderful to talk to other bloggers about them. :)
