      It is set in San Francisco 1876 and then goes to present day.

      A bit of a mystery and very good.

      I really liked the book. It was slow at times, but I liked Hannalore's story better and focused on that.

      The family connection was very interesting.

      I enjoyed I Let You Go more than this book. It took a while to get to the suspense, but as I mentioned in another comment: It was worth the wait. :)
