DeleteI'm planning on reading THE CUTAWAY before long. Probably. My mind is fickle about book planning. LOL
ReplyDeleteI am a good planner. :)

DeleteThanks for stopping, Laura.
Lots of good-looking books! I love the look of Windy City Blues...and I have a copy of The Cutaway and The Widow's House.
ReplyDeleteI loved Never Let You Go.
Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
I think you will like The Widow's House. It has a slow start but very good as you get over that hump. Gothic style with a creepy mansion. :)
DeleteThanks for stopping, Laurel.
You always have such intriguing books. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteThanks, Kathy, and thanks for stopping.
I look forward to your review of The Bridge Across the Ocean.
ReplyDeleteIt was good.
DeleteThanks for stopping, Ellen.
Enjoy Chevy Stevens and I do like the look of the Susan Meissner book. Time - where does it go to? How can I read faster even though I want to savour and enjoy slowly!!
ReplyDeleteNot enough time to read all the good books published.
DeleteA Bridge Across the Ocean and Never Let You Go were both good.
Thanks for stopping, Kathryn.
Sounds like a pretty good week! Hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI did have a good week, Louisa.
DeleteThanks for stopping.
I'm glad to hear you loved "A Bridge Across the Ocean." I had really been looking forward to it, but I've been kinda put off by the whole talking-to-ghosts thing, which was unexpected. I'm not very far in at all, though, and I still have high hopes.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to read "The Book of Summer." I enjoyed Gable's "I'll See You in Paris." (And her covers are so pretty!)
Have fun meeting Chevy Stevens!
I am not into ghosts either, but it didn't take away from the book for me. There was a lot of other good stuff. :)
DeleteYes...love Michelle Gable's books.
Thanks...I am looking forward to meeting Chevy Stevens.
Thanks for stopping, Lindsay.
My book club just finished reading A Fall of Marigolds by SM and we loved it. I'll have to check out her new one. I read and loved The Hope Chest. I'll be sure to come and check out your post. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read A Fall of Marigolds but glad your book club liked it.
DeleteGreat to hear you loved The Hope Chest. Will look forward to reading it. It does have such a pretty cover.
Thanks for stopping, Susan.
I also loved The Charm Bracelet by Shipman. They both are wonderful stories.
DeleteSo many pretty books! I have been seeing a lot of A Bridge Across the Ocean. I'll keep having to look up the title; it's so similar to The Light Between Oceans!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed A Bridge Across The Ocean. Some ghosts in it, but they don't take away from the story line.
DeleteThanks for stopping, Laurie.
Enjoy the author event with Ms. Stevens. I liked that book.
