A lovely read as always.  I never knew this had been a real event.

  2. I finished Emma in the Night last week, too and liked it a lot, but wouldn't say I was surprised by it. Seven Days of Us is one I'll read, but probably not until October. Hope you have a good week.

    1. I think you would like A Mother Like Mine, Kathryn.

      The bread came out delicious. We are making an Italian dish my mother used to make with green beans, zucchini, sauce, potatoes, and garlic.

      The zucchini and green beans are from my sister's garden.

      It smells yummy. Will be delish with the bread.

      I hope my yeast bread brings home a winner too.

      Sometimes I feel as if I should have been a Home Economics teacher instead of a Business teacher. LOL!!
