Do you like to finish one book before starting the next or do you read several at once? (submitted by Cathy @ What Cathy Read Next)


My Answer:

I can only read one book at a time, so yes....I finish one before starting another one.  :)

    I'm the same! I can't keep details straight if I were to read more than one! It was bad enough before I started taking notes that I would remember another book's plot thinking the events were to the one I was reading when it wasn't! Lol.

      That is what would happen to me if I read more than one at at time.

      I am amazed how people do read more than one book at a time.

    I am the opposite. I find it's physically impossible for me to only have one book started at a time.

    I used to only be able to read one book at a time, but once I started listening to audiobooks that changed. I haven't had issues with remembering which book is which, fortunately. I used to worry that might be a problem. If anything, I do think it slows down my reading to have so many going at once. But that might be my imagination. I hope you have a great weekend.

      I actually listen to books that I don't have to review. That way if I miss something, it won't be a major thing.

    I'm a mixer, but rarely two books in the same genre/style at the same time.

    I usually start reading one book, but often, my attention is pulled away by another equally interesting book, lol. If the book is GREAT, though, then I can't stop until I finish. All other books get put aside.

    I enjoy nonfiction as well as fiction, so I have a hard time sometimes, sticking to one book! :)

    I admire your persistence with the one book!!
