Question of the Week:

Do you sneak a peek at the number of views your posts have gotten? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)


My Answer:

I don't always sneak a peek, but I have to say I do look.

It actually depends on what the post is about.  

If it is a special post or giveway or a post that asks for opinions, I do look more often than my regular posts.

    I used to obsess over my stats but rarely look at them these days.

    Yes, for some posts it can be more relevant than others.

    I think every one of us does this, Elizabeth. Lol. In my case, every time I go to the Blogger post editor page (where all of my current posts are listed) in order to create a new post, I can see the number of post views for each post right away.

    Like you, I do tend to check more often when I have an important post up, such as a blog tour post. I do the same for giveaway posts.

    I do have a lot of overall views (I have a view counter widget in my sidebar), but individual posts vary widely in number of views. Some posts just seem to be more interesting to people.

    Thanks for sharing! Hope you're enjoying GREAT weather up there! As usual, we're having hot weather.... It's around 89F right now. UGH.

    Btw, would you believe that the trees down here shed their leaves in APRIL, for Pete's sake?! And the colors are not as vibrant as those up north! What a BUMMER!!

      It is cooler weather up here, but I like the HEAT!!

    I sneak at the stats at least once a week. I don't use it for anything though.
