My Book Beginnings is taken from THE SONG OF THE JADE LILY by Kirsty Manning:

"This was the first time she had broken Papa's rules.  Romy's throat tightened as she fingered the refugee pass in her jacket pocket and stepped closer to the ghetto's checkpoint."

I am enjoying this book.

  1. An excellent historical fiction.

Have you read it or are you planning to read it?

    Thanks for stopping.

  2. Oh, I love reading about rule-breaking characters. Here's mine: “I KNOW WHO YOU ARE”

    1. LOL!! She didn't break too many more, though. :)
