Great books! I have a few of them, and it's almost time for me to read them. Enjoy! Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
ReplyDeleteENJOY when you read the ones we have in common, Laurel.
DeleteThanks for commenting.
Another week where we have the same books. Love seeing your thoughts on them. I just put The Murder List on my list.
ReplyDeleteFun we have the same books.
DeleteThe Murder List does look good. I hope we both like it.
Thanks for commenting, Cheryl.
Ashes looks good. I read about 1/3 of Girl in the Rearview Mirror before deciding to DNF it. It was too slow-paced for me. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteASHES is very good, but a bit depressing at the beginning.
DeleteAt first I didn’t know if I was going to continue, but I am glad I did. It is good, and the author has a great writing style.
It includes how the unions helped the workers in the garment district get better wages and working hours - great historical fiction.
Oh no on THE GIRL IN THE REARVIEW MIRROR - sorry to hear it was too slow.
Thanks for the information, and thanks for commenting, Kathy.
Just finished A Student of History by Nina Revoyr. Currently reading Bowlaway by Elizabeth McCracken. Next up will be Sisters In Law by Linda Hirshman.
ReplyDeleteAll of them sound quite good, Judy.
DeleteThanks for sharing and for commenting.
A new book by Lauren Willig is always a welcome sight.
ReplyDeleteOh yes....a bit long, but very good.
DeleteMarvelous research involved and a great story line.
Thanks for commenting, Kathryn.
Looks like you have been busy. Have a great week!
