Book Blogger Hop - 6/26 - 7/3

Question of the Week

When you run out of bookshelf space, what do you do? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

My Answer:
I actually just solved this problem this past weekend.  I took quite a few books to a friend who has a little free library, and moved a few books to the basement shelves.

I now have two empty shelves that I know won't take long to fill.

  1. It's harder for me to donate books that I've loved. Don't get me wrong, I know there's a small handful I can bare to get rid of and in fact do have a small stack going. I usually try to find room to buy a new bookcase when I can. Even bought a nightstand that has two shelves on it to get just a bit of more room! Lol. Otherwise, it's into closets and other hide-a-away places that I can find to store others!

    1. It is difficult to give them away, but I needed to.

  2. Thanks for such a great question this week, Elizabeth. I've really enjoyed reading everyone's solutions to this age-old bookworm problem.

I haven't donated any books for a very long time. Since switching to Kindle, I just don't buy as many physical books.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.
