My Answer:

MY DARK VANESSA and CATHERINE HOUSE were very disappointing for me.

I actually started them, but never finished.

    I can't think of any recent ones myself. I always go back to my fall back answer which is from several years ago. Lol.

    I think I may have Catherine House on my TBR shelf. It definitely sounds like a book I might like. I'm sorry it disappointed you. I know it's gotten mixed reviews on Goodreads.

    I've heard of My Dark Vanessa, but it isn't one I plan to read.
