Book Blogger Hop - 12/25 - 12/31

Question of the Week:

Did you meet your reading goals for 2020? How many books did you read? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

My Answer:
I certainly did.

I had a goal of 50 and am up to 101 at the moment.

I always set a LOW goal so it isn't stressful.

  2. I've been setting lower ones lately too. Still sadden that I can't make the big 3 digit number like I used to but I knew that was coming with the job change. I anticipated it last year even when things were just changing but I was still stuck in a bad place.

    Congrats on meeting your challenge!

    Merry Christmas!

  4. I totally agree about lowering those targets. I saw someone the other day talk about having read 900 books. How can you possibly read almost 3 books a day? I would say I'm a fairly quick reader but a shorter novel takes me 2 - 3 hours so unless they are reading short stories and novella's to hit that target when do they do any "life" stuff?

    Have a Merry Christmas!

    1. That is a bit unbelievable to have read 900 books. I would guess very short books or children's books???

A low target is the best for me.

Thanks for your comment, Louise H.
