Book Blogger Hop - 7/15 -7/21

Question of the Week:

Do you listen to audio books? If so, do you prefer listening instead of reading? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

My Answer:

I have been listening to audio books lately for when I am walking, but I still prefer reading.

I usually listen to audio books for my book club instead of ones I review.

  1. I'm not an audiobook person myself. I find I just can't concentrate on the story without the book in my hands. It'd be too pricey for me to have both as well, and too time consuming to try to wait for it at the library...especially if it's one I really want to read!

    1. Concentrating is difficult.

That's why I listen to the ones for the book club.

No stress about missing a point because it will most likely be brought up at the book club.

      Thanks for your comment, Jessica.

  2. I do also really enjoy listening to audiobooks while out for a walk. The walking keeps me occupied, but the audiobook really lets my brain focus as well. Great question! I hope you have a lovely weekend :)

    1. It makes the walk go faster too, and entertains while walking up steep hills. :)

      Thanks for your comment, Juli.

  3. I try audiobooks now and then and I really can't follow the stories. I never thought to try listening while I walked though, most of my co-workers like to listen to them while they work.

    1. It is a it difficult to keep track, but as I mentioned, it helps distract from the boredom of walking. 😀

I don’t think I could listen while I was working. I wouldn’t be able to stay on task.

I hope you can stop by again.
