Book Blogger Hop - 8/26 - 9/1

Question of the Week:

If you receive a request from an author to read his/her book and you don't have time, do you suggest another way to help the author? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

My Answer:

Yes....I suggest doing a spotlight for their book and give them the information I need for the spotlight.

I also direct them to other sites that share blogs that may be able to help them.

  1. I guess for me it depend on the book and such. I've had some authors reach out to me who clearly didn't read my review policy as their book would not fit with what I currently read and review.

    1. Yes…that happens to me too.

I get requests for genres I do not read. 😊

      Thanks for your comment, Jessica.

  2. I try to do this as well but like Jessica I have to admit that often the authors that contact me haven't really read my review policy either so that kinda leaves me in a bind... But this is a great question and I look forward to reading what everyone else does! I hope you have a lovely weekend :)
