Winter, Winter, Winter

Snow has arrived in Pittsburgh, but nothing compared to what New York and other Northeastern states are going to get.

Stay safe if you are affected.

Here are two shots.  One out of my front door and one out of the back door.  I love seeing the bushes and trees covered.

This may cool off anyone who is having hot temperatures.  :)

Are you getting any snow?

  1. Pretty to look at, but not pretty to drive in or shovel.

    1. Dry is good for a bit and warm is ALWAYS good if you ask me. Love warm temperatures.

I am reading and playing on the computer.

      Thanks for stopping, Debbie.

  4. How lovely and so cold looking. No, Central Texas does not get much snow - only every few years do we even get enough to take a picture. And the area goes crazy when it happens. We get ice more frequently and that is worse. Enjoy the beautiful scenes and stay warm.

    1. Ice is worse. Snow is pretty I do agree.

I am staying in and reading, playing on the computer, and baking oatmeal raisin cookies. :)

      Thanks for stopping, Kay.

  6. Lovely shots of snow in your neck of the woods... No snow, where I live... Although, we've been having fairly foggy mornings, which burn off by mid-morning!!

Stay safe as I hear Northeastern US is being hit hard by a blizzard.

  9. We got a foot last Thursday -- and I was wondering if that storm is what is hitting the East Coast now. It was beautiful - frosty trees is one of my favorite things. Luckily they cancelled school and we spent the day curled up in front of the fireplace.
It was low 50's today which felt like a heat wave!! I much prefer our mild winters of 50s and am so thankful that we do not get snow that much.
I hope you get to stay inside and warm too!

    1. We must have gotten your snow storm. We didn't get too much. About 7 inches or so.

      Fifty degrees sounds heavenly. :)

Enjoy, and thanks for stopping, Cassie.

  11. It's in the 70s today here in Southeast Texas with brilliant sunshine - cut-offs and T-shirt weather as I work in the garden. Enjoy your snow!

  13. We're having toasty 60+ degree weather in Northern Colorado, but it won't last. A lovely reprieve from winter though.

60 degrees would definitely melt all of this snow.

  14. Hi Elizabeth--thanks for popping by my blog today...hope you are dug out from the latest storm as well! We are expecting another system to move in Friday night and into Saturday but not with the accumulation we received earlier this week. And it is, after all, winter where we live, right? LOL

    1. We didn't get that much, but enough to make driving tough. We had some ice today.

Yes...you are correct. It is winter here in the North.
