For sure yes! My kindle is linked to by phone and tablet, so I can just read on any device wherever I am. But if I know I'm going somewhere like the doctor, I pack my books.
Unless I know I WON'T get the opportunity to read (such as our family walks) then my kindle is usually not far from my side. So no not always, but probably 85% of the time.
