ABOUT COURAGE, MY LOVE:

Inviting readers into a facet of WWII history rarely depicted in fiction, COURAGE, MY LOVE is a visceral, moving story of those who faced and fought the German occupation in war-torn Italy.

With the men in their lives captured, executed, or missing, the women of 1943 Italy stepped up to the front lines of the resistance in Rome. COURAGE, MY LOVE follows two such women, Francesca and Lucia, who are led to join the fight for different reasons and yet are united in the strength they share.

The extensive research done by debut author Kristin Beck shines through in the rich detail found on every page, making the threat of Nazi occupation all the more chilling, and the sorrows these women faced all too real.
