ABOUT CAPE RAGE:

In CAPE RAGE, for more than a century the Danby family have ruled as kings in their corner of the Pacific Northwest.

The Feds were mostly willing to look the other way while the family smuggled everything from liquor to cigarettes across the border, until the family is implicated in a bank robbery.

The FBI knows none of the locals will turn against them, so they bring in Danny Barrett to get inside their organization and shut it down.

Meanwhile, Henry Carter, the man the Danbys thought they left for dead in the deepest part of the woods, is making a steady trek right for them, ready to destroy everything the Danbys have built and get his revenge on Tess Danby, the woman who betrayed him.

Danny will have to contend with the former in-law and current psychopath and unearth why the Danbys wanted Henry dead in the first place in order to shut the Danby empire down for good.

The FBI has a hundred undercover agents who can work in the city, but Danny Barrett is the one they call when they need someone to investigate crimes in the wilderness.

In CAPE RAGE, a particularly difficult case brings Danny to the rugged landscape of the Pacific Northwest, where he is caught between a family of criminals and the psychopath who is tracking them down.

Ron Corbett excels at bringing to life local rural communities while delivering gripping thrillers that explore the deep human connections of the people who live in them.

An avid outdoorsman, he has written several non-fiction books that highlight his intimate knowledge of the American wilderness and local hunting and fishing practices.

In his Danny Barrett novels, he combines this expert knowledge with vivid, pitch-perfect descriptions of the region and the tight-knit communities that live there, exploring the corrupt underbelly that often hides in plain sight.
