Question of the Week:
When you spot giveaways, do you enter just for fun—even if you’re unsure you’ll read the book—or only when you truly want the title?(submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)
My Answer:
I only enter the giveaway if I know I will read the book.
I feel that if I enter a giveaway and win, I need to review the book.
But...if I am not really interested in the book and know I won't read it, it isn't fair to enter.

I definitely read and review the books I do win, because they were ones I was really wanting to read too! I do enter the ones where I feel on the fence about the book, like the should I...shouldn't I? That way I can give it a try and not lose any funds.

Perfect answer, Jessica. :)
DeleteThanks for your comment.
I mostly enter giveaways only when I genuinely want to read the book. Over the years on Goodreads and LibraryThing, I’ve won three books and I’ve read all of them.
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
It's difficult to win on Goodreads, but like you if I win I read and review the book.
DeleteI win more on LibraryThing but they haven't had too many books for a while that I read.
Thanks for your comment, Kat!!
You sent in a great question this week! I used to enter giveaways but never seemed to win. I guess I'm not a lucky enough person.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Christy. Glad you like the question. :)
DeleteI rarely win either. So many people enter - one in a million chance.
