The Magnificent Seven - a group of authors - boards a cruise for a week of workshops and writing, but they all don't leave.
We meet Pip who is the assistant to Hugh. Hugh is found murdered, and the investigation isn't to Pip's liking, so she uses the knowledge from Hugh's books to interview people and try to solve the murder.
