Book Blogger Hop - 6/20/2025

Question of the Week:

Have you ever ventured out of your preferred genres? If so, were you surprised you enjoyed the book? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Review)

My Answer:

I normally do not, but actually I did last month.

I read two "romancy" books that were a pleasant surprise and change of pace from my murder and historical fiction books.

I may read more as time goes on.

    Oh nice! I honestly don't venture far from my genres. But I feel like I read a nice variety within them that it makes up for it! I love a good thriller, but I also love my paranormal and fantasy reads so that's enough for me! Lol.

      I know what you mean.

      I love my favorite genres too and don't like to venture out of them, but I was glad I read two books in a different genre.

    I didn't read Romance until I read The Love Hypothesis. I now like to dip in and out from time to time!
