I'm very protective of my books as well. I don't tend to lend them out these days. My sister likes to read on occasion as well and while I would be happy to lend her books, she has 2 little ones and 1 surly teenager who I wouldn't want around my books. Lol. She recently picked up one series I enjoyed but since she gets busy with her little ones her reading speed isn't what it used to be so I don't know how far she is.
But needless to say, I treasure my books like a dragon with its horde! Lol.

ReplyDeleteLove your comment about the dragon!!!
Thanks for your comment, Jessica.
And I am the opposite. I love to re-home my books after I have read them.
ReplyDeleteThat is sort of why I lend mine out.
DeleteThey can have a temporary home, and someone else can enjoy them for a while.
Friends, family, and neighbors count on me to share my books so I can’t give them a permanent home that isn’t mine. Lol
I am sort of a small library to everyone. 😀
