    1. Sounds atmospheric even from the title.

Thank you, Harvee, for sharing your FIFTH book from the left.

  4. I have read Morton's - I didn't like it as much as all her other books, which I so enjoyed.
I have given up on Marie Benedict. I have read 4, this was the last I really enjoyed. The next two kept me wanting.

My 5th book from the left is The Jungle, by Upton Sinclair. Have you read it? What did you think?

    1. I agree about this particular book of Morton's. It was so confusing - didn't get good until the end.

This is the only one I really enjoyed of Marie Benedict's.

THE ONLY WOMAN IN THE ROOM wasn't bad or THE OTHER EINSTEIN, but the rest were not favorites.

      Ohhh...good old Upton Sinclair.

I have never read it, though. We read many others in high school, but I don't think that one.

Thank you, Emma, for sharing all your thoughts and your FIFTH book from the left.
