I have shelves and shelves of books and some shelves have, but all are in categories. Love books. And I'm having fun designing my first self-pub'd novel, but will hire a real artist.
Hahahaha! Just the title made me laugh! Can we ever have enough room? My personal shelves are overflowing in my room. We are doing a house remodel right now so the main shelves are empty because the books are boxed up. They were definitely overflowing though, so I'm going to cull through them as I replace them. Then I can have fun making them overflow again!
We have a big living room, which is now my library. Books that I've read are in a bookcase that covers an entire wall. Books that I plan to read cover a coffee table, two end tables, and a library table. I hope I live long enough.
My books TBR are sometimes overwhelming! I recently decluttered my collection and shared with a lot of friends. I'll never be lonely with all my books!
Surprisingly, my TBR stack is pretty small. I limit myself to the one bookshelf so I have to be pretty savvy with that space! My Kindle on the other hand...!
Looking forward to seeing answers!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping.
My TBR is taller than me and much wider. One day it will bury me under its collossal weight ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL!!
DeleteSounds like mine.
Thanks for commenting, Rachna.
Can I do this via alliteration?
ReplyDeleteMy TBR is a teetering, troupe of expectant titles, on the brink of toppling over, waiting to be read...
LOVE it...great way of explaining.

I've downsized my books, but have a wall of photo albums that probably need to be scanned.
ReplyDeleteAnn
I gave some books away, but I still have so many. :)
DeletePhoto albums are in abundance at my house too.
Thanks for commenting, Ann.
My largest TBR is not visible...the books are hiding on Pippa, my Kindle.
ReplyDeleteI have another stack of print books, but it is deceptively small, because those books are scattered here and there. Hiding in plain sight.
Ahhhh....a great way to hide them on your Kindle, Laurel. :) Love it!!
DeleteSmall stacks also hide all those books well even if they are in plain sight. Great strategy. :)

ReplyDeleteI am glad I made you chuckle. :)
DeleteIt will be difficult to cull the books, but sometimes it has to be done. Hope it isn't too painful. :)
And...you will have that new book you won to add to the shelves. :)

There never seems to be enough room for my books.
ReplyDeleteThey do take over, don't they?
DeleteThanks for commenting, Donna.
It makes me anxious to think about my TBR books (that I bought). I try to keep my review TBR books under control - ha.
ReplyDeleteI haven't bought in a while and have tons from the BEA conventions I have gone to.
DeleteI keep my review TBR separate, but it takes up almost an entire shelf.

ReplyDeleteOh....I agree. I hope I live long enough to read all the books I have. :)
DeleteSounds like a beautiful home of books.

I have many, many shelves in my house of unread books, and many boxes in my garage. And I keep buying them. I love books.
ReplyDeleteIt is difficult to not buy books. Books are wonderful.

DeleteBooks keep me company. :)

My TBR stacks are quite formidable! I hope to have a study or a small library in my home someday. :)
ReplyDeleteA study or a library would be fantastic!!
DeleteThanks for commenting, Suko.
My TBR pile is so big and my books that I have already read is big too. I should go and clear some out but....I can't. lol I am attached.
ReplyDeleteI hate giving my books away, but I did do it. It is very difficult.
DeleteThanks for commenting, Carole Rae.
Mine is totally absurd...and getting absurder by the day.
ReplyDeleteLOL...we all love our books. Can't help it.
DeleteThanks for commenting, The Book Sage.
LibraryThing tells me I have 2022 books on my TBR mountain. (Oops! Finished one today. Only 2021)
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteSounds like a wonderful number, Kathy. :)

I have way too many reads to count at this point scattered everywhere in my home and on my Kindle!!
ReplyDeleteAs long as they are there, right?
DeleteScattered is good. :)
