FEATURING: Kill All Your Darlings by David Bell

MYSTERY - THRILLER- SUSPENSE
Connor finally had a book published. He needed this publication to save his tenure at the university.
The only problem is that the book is one written by a former student who has gone missing and was never found.
Mr. Bell will again treat readers to a gripping, page-turning thriller.

You will feel the tension in all the characters as well as their confusion about the situation.
Mr. Bell simply has a way of creating books that have exceptionally real and unique, pulse-pounding story lines.
He has outdone himself with KILL ALL YOUR DARLINGS...don’t miss this ONE. 5/5

ABOUT LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE:

The story: Five years ago, Lark was planning a wedding to her high school sweetheart when her dreams were abruptly shattered.

Her fiancĂ©’s cancer came back in full force, and she was left to pick up the pieces of her life alone and afraid of a future without him.

Her goal of becoming an oncologist kept her going and she’s nearly reached it when she’s fired for being “too emotional.”

How can she not be emotional when every dying patient reminds her of what she lost?

Enter Lorenzo Santini, aka “Dr. Satan,” the arrogant, renowned surgeon who offers to help Lark get her job back.

The only catch? She must pose as his girlfriend in the leadup to his sister’s wedding and fool his entire family.

It’s not until their fake-dating scheme is underway that Lark meets Lorenzo’s brother, Dante, a man she feels strangely drawn to for reasons she can’t explain.

As Lark gets to know Lorenzo’s family and begins a new rotation in the hospital ER, she is surprised to find herself forming new connections and feeling renewed confidence in her work.

Life hasn’t turned out as Lark planned, but is she brave enough to take the second chances offered in love, happiness, and healing?

If Something Happens to Me by Alex Finlay

Being miles from home and receiving a note that says “I know who you are” wouldn’t bother most people but when it has something to do with a disappearance, it worries Ryan.

Ryan had been a suspect in the disappearance of his girlfriend five years ago, was cleared, but when new evidence is found he is trying to stay under the radar.

Who could have sent that note?

What will happen now?

And how did they know Ryan was in Italy?

Three different locations and three different but similar situations going on.  Do they all have a connection?

We find characters in Philadelphia, Kansas, and Italy.  Philadelphia has a mob ring, Kansas has a cold case that became open again, and Italy has Ryan and someone who is after him.

You will NOT be able to put this book down.  It is intense, intriguing, and Finlay's best.

The action is non-stop and has you grabbing at straws to figure out what's going on.

There are some gruesome scenes, but the twisted plots that all connect in the end will have your jaw dropping and totally enjoying the edge-of-your seat and at times a bit unrealistic scenes.

But....do not miss this one.  And that cover is GREAT!!  5/5

Thank you to the publisher for a copy of this book.  All opinions are my own.

FEATURING: Last Seen Alive by Joanna Schaffhausen

MYSTERY - CRIME - THRILLER

WOW!!  Heart pounding!!

Ellery, Reed, and Coben are together again and not for anything good.

Ellery is the only victim of serial killer Francis Coben who survived because Reed found her locked in a closet on the Coben family's farm.

You will be glued to the pages and thinking about the book even when you aren’t reading it.

Tense, tense, tense and excellent as all of Joanna’s books.
