How did you do? Are you going to do more challenges next year?
 ********
I have never done challenges except for the one on Goodreads, but this year I am going to do a challenge for the first time.
********
I met my challenge on Goodreads for this year and for the past four years.  I usually surpass my goal. :)

I am going to join Kathryn at the Book Date for the first time and for my first challenge.
I am going to join in the Women's Fiction Reading Challenge.  I read so many women's fiction books, it should be a good challenge to start with.

Who is your FAVE...

Thanks to these ladies for the month of fun:

 Tanya @ Girlxoxo

 Andi @ Estella’s Revenge

 Tamara @ Traveling With T

{The Blogger ShoutOut Edition} –  your fave bookish and/or non-bookish bloggers

Oh...now this is difficult because I love all my book-blogging friends and their sites.

If I have to choose, though, I will choose the following blogs:

I could choose a ton more, but these bloggers stop by most often, we e-mail each other, and I have met a couple of these ladies in person.

If I missed someone who always does stop by, my apologies.

I can't wait to find new blogs to visit when I read everyone's posts.

Favorite Holiday Festivities – show off your favorite ornaments, home decor, place to go, holiday drinks, holiday eats, holiday themed reads
 *********

I am a bit of a scrooge when it comes to Christmas decorating.  I don't have too many decorations up yet and don't go all out.

Right now I only have a table cloth, wreath on the front door, and a wreath on the house above the garage.

We just set up the tree.  I think I am going with only lights on the tree this year.  No ornaments, but plenty of books on the right side of the tree.  :)

We have Christmas Eve together as an extended family with lots of food...I am Italian.  That tells it all about the food.  :)

Christmas Day is usually with the spouse's side of the family.

I normally do not read Christmas-themed books.

A Month of Faves December Blog Event - 12/14/15

https://travelingwitht.wordpress.com/

Do you READ OUTSIDE YOUR COMFORT ZONE?

Thanks to these ladies for the month of fun:

 Tanya @ Girlxoxo

 Andi @ Estella’s Revenge

 Tamara @ Traveling With T

Reading Outside My Comfort Zone – Surprise Find(s) This Year

1.  Deanna Raybourn - A Curious Beginning

It was mystery, but different from what I normally read as a mystery.
*********

That is about the only book that was out of my comfort zone.

Every other book was in my preferred reading genre.

I am pretty particular about what I will read and not read.  :)

I have never and don't think I will read a sci-fi book or paranormal book.

Love this question...again..learning more about fellow bloggers.  :)

********
My FAVE of the week happens to be all of the posts on Wednesday, December 9, where everyone shared what they use to make their blogging experience better.

I found some really awesome sites I had never known about.

A SHOUT OUT to everyone who participated and shared.
 ********
My other FAVE of the week was the day we shared NEW TO US authors.

I knew a few of the authors, but there were quite a few that I am going to "check out."

Thanks for these fun questions and the opportunity to learn new things and to learn more about our fellow bloggers.
