Question of the Week:
Have you ever loved a book that everyone else hated or hated a book that everyone else loved? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)
My Answer:
Oh yes.
The only one I can think of is WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING - I couldn't get into it.
Can't think of one that I loved and no one else did.
Never did read that one. I remember in school everyone loving Gatsby or Catcher in the Rye and I was bored to tears with those! Definitely a different level with required reading! Lol!

Oh yes on those two books!!

I think it's so interesting to see which books people love or hate. I almost prefer to read reviews that go against the norm because they're often more objective than the others.

Interesting.

Where the Crawdads Sing is one of many on my TBR Shelves! My mum lent it to me. I don't think she had any strong feelings either way about it 🤔
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

Friends loved it, but I just couldn’t get into it. I actually never finished it.

Most people I know who read Where the Crawdads Sing loved it. I know my mom did. She offered to loan me the book, but I turned her down. I have no interest in reading it, to be honest. I hope you have a great weekend, Elizabeth.
ReplyDeleteMost people I know loved it too.
DeleteThank you for your comment, Literary Feline.
I did like Crawdads but life would be boring if we all liked the same books.

I think this probably happens to everyone who is an avid reader. We all have different likes, dislikes, and opinions. That's life. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is, and it's good that happens. :)
DeleteThanks for stopping and for your comment, Meezan.
I have not read that one or seen the movie. Hope you have a great week!
