We again meet Hannah and Bailey as they have been normally living their lives for the past five years even though Owen, Hannah's husband and Bailey's father, still hasn't been found.
When a text arrives saying to get out of the house, their escape happens immediately.
Both Hannah and Bailey knew this day would come, and everything was prepared, but they still don't know what's going on.
Having to escape all goes back to Bailey's grandfather and her father Owen and to Hannah keeping Bailey safe.
The tension and descriptions are amazing, and you won't be able to put the book down until you find out EVERYTHING.
And there are some twists you won’t see coming.
This sequel to The Last Thing He Told Me is just as gripping and just as good, but a bit long.
I would recommend reading the books in order. 4/5
