A Perfect Quote from Neil Gaiman and A Glimpse at Depot 87 Cafe & Books

My son is visiting Cafe Mill Valley, California, and stopped in Depot 87 Cafe & Books.

He sent me these photos that he knew I would love.

The book store looks adorable, and this quote is too amazing to not share.

I don't read Neil Gaiman's books, but I do love his quote.

ENJOY!!

  3. Lol this is amazing! More bookstores should do quotes like this :) I like the way the front says "cafe and books", like it emphasizes the books part. Thank you for sharing :) this is brilliant.
    Take care,

  10. Hi Elizabeth,

Every bookshop should look like this - and so should every cafe! LOL

Unfortunately independent bookshops are dying a slow death in many parts of the UK and it seems as though every time I go to check out a latest tweet or post, another one has closed its doors for the final time!

Even the highstreet giants have all but disappeared, with much of their business being swallowed up by cheap supermarket sales.

A sad sign of the times I guess :(

    1. It is sad that there are not book stores in every town.

      This one looks so cute.

Thanks as always for stopping, Yvonne.

  11. I love Neil Gaiman! His books are amazing, especially his world and writing. His quotes are spectacular, too. I love using them as my desktop wallpaper.

I would recommend you to read Ocean at the End of the Lane! it's my favorite!

    Lovely post! <3
