Looks like you had a smashing October! (I read so many books set in England and watch so much British tv, I'm starting to pick up their expressions it seems.)
I have decided that going forward, the quality of my reading material, is going to be the only criteria for me.
I want to get back to enjoying my reading in the little free time I do get, so only three of your titles have real potential for my own list.
The Nicholas Bundock, Karen Odden and Patricia Sands, all look good to me and you obviously enjoyed them, judging by your Goodreads ratings and reviews!
Thanks for the recommendations, I hope that all is well with you and Happy Reading :)
What really counts is that you read and enjoyed them. Why read otherwise!
ReplyDeleteExactly...thanks for commenting, Kathryn.
DeleteI love when the books are all enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteOh yes....I have learned to not continue if I am not enjoying the book.

I totally agree with you.
DeleteThe three books you mentioned were good.
Patricia Sands’ book was my favorite out of those three.

DeleteThank you also for always liking my reviews on Riffle. :)
A great variety of books. Glad you enjoyed them. Once Upon a River is in my TBR pile and A Dangerous Duet looks interesting too.
ReplyDeleteBoth were good. A bit long, but interesting.
DeleteThanks for commenting, Yvonne, and enjoy when you read the books.
