What really counts is that you read and enjoyed them. Why read otherwise!
Exactly...thanks for commenting, Kathryn.
I love when the books are all enjoyable.
Oh yes....I have learned to not continue if I am not enjoying the book. Thanks for commenting, Laurel.
Looks like you had a smashing October! (I read so many books set in England and watch so much British tv, I'm starting to pick up their expressions it seems.)
That is funny, LuAnn.Thanks for commenting.
I have decided that going forward, the quality of my reading material, is going to be the only criteria for me.I want to get back to enjoying my reading in the little free time I do get, so only three of your titles have real potential for my own list. The Nicholas Bundock, Karen Odden and Patricia Sands, all look good to me and you obviously enjoyed them, judging by your Goodreads ratings and reviews! Thanks for the recommendations, I hope that all is well with you and Happy Reading :)Yvonnexx
I totally agree with you.The three books you mentioned were good. Patricia Sands’ book was my favorite out of those three. Thanks for commenting, Yvonne.
Lots of good books here! I need to read Once upon a River. But all look fantastic
It is different and a bit long, but good. Thanks for commenting, reeca.
