Question of the Week:
What was your gateway book—the book that made you want to read more—into reading or into a specific genre? (submitted by Meezan @ Caboodle of Cozie)
My Answer:
Oooo...tough question.
I honestly can't think of any book, but I know when I started my blog and began receiving books from publishers, my reading soared.
Being retired helped too. :)
I couldn't remember a specific book that got me into reading in general. I remember being read to at bedtime as a kid, but I did talk about my first vampire read that got me into the paranormal genre! Lol.

I agree getting books from publishers through mediums like Netgalley help fuel my book addiction.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely - NetGalley is ADDICTIVE isn't it?

I couldn't pinpoint a book that got me into reading if I tried--I've been a reader longer than I can remember. There are certain books that I associate with getting me more into certain genres during my childhood and young adult years though. I wouldn't say book blogging has increased my reading, but it certainly opened me up to knew authors! I hope you have a great weekend, Elizabeth!
