ABOUT PIERCE:
Nothing much happens in the world of janitor and jazz enthusiast Truman Pierce, until a popular instructor at the college he cleans surprises him by asking him out.
The day after their first date, Pierce finds Professor Danielle Hutchins murdered in her classroom.
With only a little information to go off of, and a pair of small town detectives he doesn’t quite trust, Pierce sets off to find Danielle’s killer.
As Pierce peels back the layers of his quiet town, a dark underbelly is revealed: Pierce’s investigation turns deadly when his life is threatened by Danielle’s vengeful brother and the dangerous criminals desperate to keep the truth about Danielle’s murder a secret.
With the help of two college students and an instructor, Pierce will do that it takes to uncover what happened to Danielle.
But will the search for the truth be the end for Pierce?
