Saturday Snapshot - 12/29/12
I normally don't post a photo because I never have any good ones, but I thought this would be a fun photo to share.
We woke up to six inches of snow and more on the way. At least the snow plows came early. We had around five inches of snow last Wednesday and the street wasn't done until around 3 p.m.
It is beautiful, but not fun for driving.
Taken in the snowy hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Hope you are enjoying your Saturday.ReplyDelete
That is a great photo... kind of "Narnia Like"ReplyDelete
How Beautiful! I love snow photos. I think you should post photos more often! Happy New Year!ReplyDelete
I will see if I have any good ones for next time.
That's a sight we never get to see in Florida! Thanks for sharing. Have a happy and healthy 2013!ReplyDelete
I do enjoy looking at snow, but not driving in it. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog. Enjoy the holiday!ReplyDelete
I love snow! What a great photo! I have family in Pittsburgh, its a great city. :)ReplyDelete
ah, snow... makes me want to bundle up myself and my kids and drive up to the mountains for a day of play. Thanks for sharing, Book Savvy BabeReplyDelete
It is beautiful!ReplyDelete
It's much prettier to look at through your window than it would be through mine! We got lucky and the storm went south of Chicago. And I couldn't be happier.ReplyDelete
I did not have trouble driving until I tried to get back into my driveway. The plows seem to block driveways and someone had plowed my neighbors sidewalk to right behind my husbands car - where I had shoveled earlier. Thanks to a wonderful neighbor, I was able to get into our driveway again. Next time, I'll walk across to the stores.ReplyDelete
Kinda looks like my backyard. Montreal got 43 cm of snow on Thursday. Snowing again today...ReplyDelete
Gorgeous! We got a few inches on Christmas Day.ReplyDelete
Absolutely beautiful!! I LOVE snow, but have lived in Florida for many years and really miss it.ReplyDelete
Beautiful shot! It looks a lot like my yard this morning.ReplyDelete
Hi Elizabeth. I saw this post on my dashboard--had to come check it out. I'm just a bit north of you in Butler County. Winter took it time showing its face, but now that it's here, it sure is pretty. Thanks for sharing, and happy New Year.ReplyDelete
That's a beautiful snow! We only had an inch or snow and it has fallen of the trees and melted from the roads, for the most part.ReplyDelete
It is beautiful, and I wouldn't want to drive in it either. :)ReplyDelete
The prsitine snow is just beautiful - so unlike anything we ever see in Sydney!ReplyDelete
I am sure you don't get snow in Sydney, Brona Joy. :)ReplyDelete
THANKS so much for stopping by.
Can't find your blog or I would visit.
Lovely! It's always so beautiful when the snow is still on the branches (but I'm with you--so not fun for driving! our coastal snow here in BC is very wet and slippery).ReplyDelete
I don't mind snow on pictures. But driving in it over here, people are just too scared and driving becomes a nightmare. So, I'd rather it be somewhere else, as much as I enjoy your great picture.ReplyDelete
Bear With Me...beautiful shot♫ Be safe in the New Year♥ReplyDelete
I've seen several snow pictures today and have to say that I'm glad I'm not there! Stay warm!ReplyDelete
Oh, it looks lovely before it turns to slush.ReplyDelete
Keep safe and warm
What a lovely photo. I am hoping for at least one snow storm here this winter-but only one. Snow wrecks havoc on us poor Seattlites what with all our hills and limited snow removal equipment. Have a happy new year!ReplyDelete
The beautiful first snowfall, soft on the soles and peaceful to the soul.ReplyDelete
Thanks for stopping by, Debbie.ReplyDelete
It was beautiful...snow is still here, but not on the trees.
