A story about Thia, a woman in her late twenties who has aspirations of one day running a boutique hotel.

With an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for hospitality, it’s no surprise that as soon as she wins the lottery she starts pursuing her dream right away.

Blairmont Manor seems like the perfect location for her business, but shortly after she moves in, strange events lead her to believe the historic mansion may not actually be empty.

Intriguing, eerie, and suspenseful, The Bell Lady of Blairmont Manor is a fast read that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
 ************
ROMANCE: There is NO romance or love angle.

It probably goes without saying, but along this line there is also no sex, no graphic descriptions of erotic behavior or thoughts, not even kissing or flirting.

VIOLENCE/GORE: There is light violence and NO gore.

Compared to a lot of horror novels, it is relatively tame--if you are at all averse to violence, this may not be the book for you.
 ************
Genres - horror, thriller, suspense, paranormal
Release date - October 2 (Kindle and paperback; hardback is TBD for now)

ABOUT THE BELL LADY OF BLAIRMONT MANOR:

Nestled in the foothills of the southern Appalachian Mountains, the small town of Daffodil harbors a secret about the mansion by the lake. On the outside, Blairmont Manor appears to be a peaceful lakeside getaway. Inside, it is a house of terror.

For over a hundred years, the people of Daffodil have kept this secret. Their children grow up knowing pure evil exists in this world and that they are powerless against it.

By the time Thia moves in, with plans to convert the historic mansion into a luxury boutique hotel, the secrets of Blairmont Manor are so well kept that she suspects nothing is amiss about her new home. But it’s not long before she comes to realize the townspeople are keeping something from her…and that someone is willing to do whatever it takes to make her leave.

Novella Jean grew up in Nashville, TN, and after some short stays in Texas and Oregon now lives in Washington State with her husband and their cat. When she’s not writing, you may find her going for walks near bodies of water, trying to capture the perfect sunrise/sunset picture, or unable to move so as not to disturb the cat or dog on her lap. The Bell Lady of Blairmont Manor is her first horror novel. She is also the author of the satire novelette Rita, Riley, and ’Rona Anxiety.
